About 3T
Biography / Discography
3T is an American R&B/pop music trio formed in 1995, consisting of three sons of Tito Jackson (Jackson 5): Tariano Adaryll Jackson II (Taj, born 1973), Taryll Adren Jackson (born 1975), and Tito Joe Jackson (T.J., born 1978). The group inherited Dominican ancestry from their mother, Delores Jackson. Their uncle Michael Jackson mentored the trio and signed them to his label MJJ Music, supporting their early career launch.
The group’s 1995 debut album Brotherhood achieved international commercial success, selling approximately three million copies worldwide. The album spawned the breakthrough single ‘Anything’ and several European hits including ’24/7,’ ‘Why’ (a duet featuring Michael Jackson), ‘I Need You,’ ‘Tease Me,’ and ‘Gotta Be You.’ In 1996, 3T ranked as the second biggest-selling group in Europe behind the Spice Girls. Beyond their own releases, the brothers wrote and produced tracks for film soundtracks including The Jacksons: An American Dream, Free Willy, Men in Black, and Trippin’.
Following an unreleased project known as The Lost Album, 3T released Identity in 2004 on the European label TF1/NRJ. The group has maintained consistent touring activity, including performances at the Grammy Awards (2010), the Michael Forever tribute concert at Cardiff’s Millennium Stadium (2011), and television appearances including ITV2’s The Big Reunion (2014). Recent years have included European festival and venue performances.
