About Adana Twins
Biography / Discography
Adana Twins are a German DJ duo from Hamburg consisting of Take It Easy and Friso. Formed in 2006 during a shift away from the European electro-house trend of that era, the pair developed a distinctive sound rooted in deep house and melodic techno, marked by sleek production and sophisticated sampling techniques. They established a strong local presence through residencies at Hamburg’s Baalsaal and EGO clubs, becoming known for eight- to ten-hour sets spanning multiple tempos and styles within house and techno.
Adana Twins gained international recognition in 2012 with the release of “Everyday” and “Strange” on Exploited Records, tracks that circulated widely among prominent DJs including A-Trak, Pete Tong, and Soul Clap. Their early success led to remix work for labels such as Get Physical, Noir Records, and Kitsune. The duo embarked on international touring, performing at venues including Ushuaia in Ibiza, Cielo in New York, Watergate in Berlin, Warung Beach Club in Brazil, and The Warehouse Project in Manchester. Festival appearances include Loveland, MELT Festival, and Beyond the Valley.
In parallel with their touring career, Adana Twins launched the JEUDI label with collaborators Doctor Dru and Davidé, establishing a platform for sophisticated sound design over trend-driven production. The duo maintains a strong connection to their Hamburg base while building a global profile across clubs and festivals.
