About Aly & Fila
Biography / Discography
Aly & Fila are an Egyptian trance duo comprised of Aly El Sayed Amr Fathalah and Fadi Wassef Naguib. Since their formation, they have established themselves as leading figures in progressive uplifting trance, founding the internationally influential Future Sound of Egypt record label and internet radio platform.
The duo has achieved significant recognition within the electronic music community, with four productions selected as “Tune of the Year” on Armin Van Buuren’s A State of Trance program: “We Control the Sunlight” (2011), “Unbreakable” with Roger Shah (2016), “Somebody Loves You” featuring Plumb (2020), and “For All Time” with Armin Van Buuren (2021). These collaborations underscore their standing among the genre’s most respected producers and their ability to create compelling vocal-driven trance compositions.
