About Colyn
Biography / Discography
Colyn, the stage name of Dutch producer and DJ Ewout Colijn, is an electronic music act from the Netherlands known for atmospheric, melodic techno built from layered textures and delayed synth stutters that build into euphoric grooves. He has been producing electronic music for close to a decade, developing a sound centered on mood and texture rather than straightforward club functionality.
Colyn’s profile rose after his work was picked up by Tale of Us, the duo behind the Afterlife label, who began regularly playing his productions. His track ‘Amor’ was released on Afterlife and received support from artists including Joris Voorn, and the track was included in Tomorrowland’s Official Aftermovie in 2019. He followed with the ‘Resolve’ EP on Afterlife, which drew support from Solomun, Adriatique, Damian Lazarus, Stephan Bodzin and ARTBAT.
Colyn performs as a solo DJ and producer, releasing music through Afterlife and distributing his catalogue across major streaming platforms including Spotify, SoundCloud, Deezer and Tidal, alongside a presence on Discogs and Resident Advisor. He is available to book for festivals, club nights and private events.
