His musical style draws from hip-hop pioneers like Grandmaster Flash and Kool Herc, combined with a particular focus on dance and funk music from the 1970s and 1980s. He has established himself as a premier DJ for high-profile celebrity functions and political events, becoming one of the most sought-after performers in the luxury events sector.
Cassidy’s career breakthrough came when Sean Combs discovered him working at a Manhattan nightclub event around 2001, which led to bookings at Grammy Awards parties, MTV Video Music Awards, and the 2001 Jennifer Lopez wedding.
