Dons, born Artūrs Šingirejs on April 10, 1984, in Brocēni, Latvia, is a celebrated singer-songwriter with a rich musical background. He gained national recognition after winning the Latvian talent show “Talantu Fabrika” in 2003. Over the years, Dons has released multiple albums, earning numerous awards, including the Top Radio Hit award seven times and Best Pop Album twice at the Annual Latvian Music Recording Awards. In 2024, he represented Latvia at the Eurovision Song Contest with his song “Hollow,” securing the country’s first qualification to the final since 2016 and finishing 16th overall. Dons’s music, characterized by its emotional depth and melodic richness, continues to resonate with audiences both in Latvia and internationally.
