About Enter Shikari
Biography / Discography
Enter Shikari (formerly Hybryd) are an English rock band from St Albans, formed in 1999. The band consists of bassist Chris Batten, lead vocalist and keyboardist Rou Reynolds, drummer Rob Rolfe, and guitarist Rory Clewlow, who completed the current line-up in 2003. They are known for their distinctive style blending post-hardcore, alternative rock, and electronic music—genres critics and fans have termed ‘electronicore’ and ‘trancecore’.
Their 2007 debut Take to the Skies reached number 4 on the UK Albums Chart and achieved gold certification. Subsequent releases Common Dreads (2009, UK #16) and A Flash Flood of Colour (2012, UK #4) established their commercial presence. The Mindsweep (2015), The Spark (2017), and Nothing Is True & Everything Is Possible (2020) continued their touring and recording trajectory. In 2023, A Kiss for the Whole World became their breakthrough, earning their first UK number-one album placement. Their most recent album, Lose Your Self, was released in April 2026.
