Heatbeat is an Argentine trance and electro house production project formed in 2006 by Agustin Servente and Matias Faint. Signed to Armada Records, founded by Armin van Buuren, the project became solo-operated by Matias Faint from 2018 onwards. Heatbeat is known for incorporating Spanish-styled melodic elements into trance compositions, creating a distinctive sonic identity that has resonated within the global electronic music community.
The project’s discography includes notable productions such as ‘Paradise Garage’, ‘Ask the Angels’, ‘Roses Never Cry’, ‘Rocker Monster’, ‘Chow Mein’, ‘Game Over’, ‘Aerys’, ‘Bloody Moon’, and ‘Cell’. These tracks exemplify Heatbeat’s signature blend of trance and electro house, with Spanish-influenced note sequences that distinguish the project within the broader electronic music landscape. In 2017, Matias Faint established Aerys Records under Armada Music to support emerging producers from Argentina and Latin America.
In live performance, Heatbeat integrates original productions and bootleg remixes of contemporary electronic music into dynamic DJ sets.
