About Moss Kena
Biography / Discography
Moss Kena is the stage name of British singer-songwriter Thomas McKenna (born 1998 or 1999), an R&B and soul artist based in Berlin, Germany. Growing up in London as the son of a record store owner, McKenna began his musical career in 2016 performing acoustic covers in coffeehouses and malls, drawing inspiration from Amy Winehouse and hip-hop artists. He is recognized for his soulful vocal contributions and songwriting in collaborative electronic and pop productions.
McKenna’s discography includes the extended plays One+One and Found You in 06 (both 2018), Live Acoustic Sessions (2019), and After The Odyssey (2023). His international breakthrough came in 2021 with “Fireworks,” a collaboration with producer Purple Disco Machine and electronic duo The Knocks, for which he provided vocal performance and songwriting. The track gained significant international exposure, and in 2019 McKenna supported Rita Ora on her Phoenix UK tour.
In 2024, McKenna relocated to Berlin, establishing himself as an active artist in the European music scene. In 2025, he competed in Germany’s national Eurovision Song Contest selection, Chefsache ESC, performing “Nothing Can Stop Love,” which finished in third place with approximately 150,000 votes.
