About Orjan Nilsen
Biography / Discography
Ørjan Nilsen (born June 14, 1982) is a Norwegian record producer and electronic music DJ specializing in trance. His work has earned him consistent recognition, including rankings in the annual DJ Mag Top 100 poll and nominations for major industry awards.
Nilsen released his debut album In My Opinion in 2011, followed by No Saint Out of Me (2013), Prism (2018), and The Devil Is In The Detail (2019). His career gained significant momentum in 2012 when he achieved a number 32 ranking in DJ Mag’s Top 100 and received a Best Breakthrough DJ nomination from the International Dance Music Awards. Notable productions include collaborations with prominent artists such as Armin van Buuren on “Flashlight” (2016) and a chart-dominating track “Los Capos” with KhoMha the same year.
Beyond studio production, Nilsen has collaborated with artists including Cosmic Gate and Mark Sixma through the Nilsix B2B partnership, showcasing productions at international festivals. He launched “In My Opinion Radio,” a bi-weekly broadcast beginning in April 2020, available on Facebook, YouTube, and as a podcast.
