About Paul Bleasdale
Biography / Discography
Paul Bleasdale is a British house and techno DJ from Liverpool. He began his professional career in 1989 as a resident DJ at Liverpool’s Baa Bar at age 18, establishing himself as a foundational figure in the city’s dance music scene during the early 1990s.
In 1992, Bleasdale was invited to perform at the inaugural Cream nightclub event by co-founder Darren Hughes, marking the start of a six-year residency in the venue’s Annexe Room. During this period, he became integral to Cream’s rise as one of Europe’s most influential nightclubs, performing alongside globally recognized DJs including Paul Oakenfold, Carl Cox, and Sasha. His work at Cream shaped the venue’s distinctive funky house and techno sound and established him as DJ Mag’s top-100 and Muzik magazine’s leading resident DJ.
After an extended hiatus, Bleasdale returned to the UK circuit in the 2010s and resumed music production in 2016, releasing tracks on the influential Big Fist imprint that achieved top positions in DJ Trackitdown charts. His sustained impact as a house music visionary makes him available for festivals, club residencies, and professional DJ engagements.
