About Push Baby
Biography / Discography
Push Baby (stylized in lowercase) is a British pop duo from Manchester, England, comprising vocalist Jake Roche and multi-instrumentalist Charley Bagnall. The musical partnership originated as the four-piece band Relics in 2012, evolving into Rixton in 2013. During their tenure as Rixton, the duo achieved significant commercial success with their debut single “Me and My Broken Heart,” which charted internationally and reached number one on the UK singles chart.
This breakthrough established them as notable figures in contemporary pop music. Rixton maintained this momentum with additional releases before entering a hiatus in 2016. The band reunited in 2019 under the new moniker Push Baby, debuting with the single “Mama’s House.” Following their rebrand, they released the Woah EP and two studio albums: Wow, Big Legend and Wow, That’s What I Call Push Baby!
Distinctive for their independent approach to the music industry, Push Baby operates through their own indie record label, also named Wow, Big Legend. The band entered another period of hiatus in 2022. They are available to book for festivals, live performances and private events.
