About Red Café
Biography / Discography
Red Café, the stage name of Jermaine Alfred Denny (born September 19, 1976 in Guyana), is an East Coast hip-hop artist based in Brooklyn, New York. He emerged in the late 1990s as part of the group Da Franchise before transitioning to a solo career around 2001. Throughout his career, he has signed with multiple major labels including Konvict Muzik (Akon’s label), Bad Boy Records (Diddy), Hoo-Bangin’ Records, Interscope, and others.
Red Café released several notable collaborative projects and singles, including The Co-Op with DJ Envy in 2007 (featuring Remy Ma), and later tracks such as “I’m Ill” with Fabolous (2010) and “Fly Together” featuring Rick Ross and Ryan Leslie (2011). His discography includes albums Money Money Money and Diddy Bop, which have drawn significant listener engagement across streaming platforms. Beyond music, he has pursued acting, appearing in the 2009 biopic Notorious in a supporting role.
