About SupaFly
Biography / Discography
Supafly (also known as Supafly Inc.) is an English electronic funk-reggae duo composed of Panos Liassi (Mister P) and Andrew Tumi (wOne), based in London. Their sound blends reggae, hip hop and dance music with electronic production, creating a distinctive club-oriented style that achieved worldwide recognition in the mid-2000s.
The duo achieved breakthrough success in 2005 with “Let’s Get Down,” a club hit that circulated globally and was adopted by Australian television network FOX8 as their summer theme song. This success was followed in late 2006 by “Moving Too Fast,” which sampled Phil Collins’ “Another Day in Paradise” and further established their profile. Supafly received the Best Newcomer Award at the 2006 Urban Music Awards, recognizing their rapid rise in the electronic dance music scene.
The group’s creative direction was shaped by time spent in Melbourne, Australia. Mister P brings extensive production and remixing credentials, having worked with acts including Amen! UK, De Funk and A vs. B, and remixed tracks for artists including Prince, Annie Lennox, Goldie and Coolio. wOne, a British-Ghanaian vocalist and producer, has contributed songwriting and performance throughout the group’s career.
