About The Queen Extravaganza
Biography / Discography
The Queen Extravaganza is the officially sanctioned Queen tribute band, developed by Queen’s original drummer Roger Taylor. Formed through an online audition process, the group performs the rock catalog of Queen live, distinguishing itself from unauthorized cover acts through its direct endorsement by a founding member of the original band.
The band’s first North American tour was announced in March 2012, covering twenty-six cities across the United States and Canada. A second North American tour followed in October 2012, and the group continued touring in subsequent years, including a 2018 North American tour. Early lineups featured Marc Martel handling lead vocals and multiple instruments before he departed the project. Later lineups have featured Alirio Netto on lead vocals, Nick Radcliffe and Brian Gresh on guitars, Tyler Warren on drums, Francois-Olivier Doyon on bass, and Darren Reeves and Alex Maynard on keyboards.
As a touring tribute act built around Queen’s arena-rock and glam-rock repertoire, the Queen Extravaganza recreates the theatrical live show associated with the original band. The act is available to book for festivals, corporate events and private shows.
