About Vini Vici
Biography / Discography
Vini Vici (also known as Sesto Sento 2001-2013) is an Israeli psytrance duo from Afula comprising producers Matan Kadosh and Aviram Saharai. The two musicians originally collaborated as part of the three-person project Sesto Sento, founded in 2001 when Saharai and Itai Spector were high school classmates. Kadosh joined as their school DJ, and the trio quickly released their debut album. Sesto Sento became established in the Israeli psytrance scene, with their 2006 album Come Together achieving Gold Record status. When Spector departed the group in 2011 to pursue a strictly Orthodox Jewish lifestyle, Kadosh and Saharai continued producing music.
In 2013, the two relaunched under the name Vini Vici, seeking to blend psytrance with world music elements. Their international breakthrough came in 2015 with “The Tribe” from their debut album Future Classics. The track gained critical acclaim within the underground psytrance community before becoming a crossover commercial success when mainstream EDM DJs adopted it, accumulating over 11 million Spotify streams by 2019. Vini Vici subsequently released successful collaborations with high-profile producers and DJs, including “Great Spirit” with Armin van Buuren and Hilight Tribe (surpassing 1 million plays within a week), “Chakra” with W&W (reaching number one on the Beatport Psy-Trance Chart within 24 hours), and tracks with Steve Aoki, Timmy Trumpet, and Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike.
In 2018, the duo established Alteza Records as their own imprint under Armada Music distribution, releasing music from themselves and affiliated artists including Blastoyz, Skazi, and Paul van Dyk. Vini Vici has performed on major festival main stages, notably Tomorrowland in Belgium (2018 and 2025). Available to book for festivals, corporate events, and private shows.
