Biography / Discography
Stephen Samuel Wrabel, known mononymously as Wrabel, is an American pop singer-songwriter and producer based in Los Angeles. Born January 7, 1989, Wrabel emerged in the 2010s as a distinctive voice in pop music, blending introspective songwriting with polished production. His work spans both solo releases and high-profile songwriting and production credits for other artists, establishing him as a multifaceted creative force in contemporary pop.
Wrabel’s breakthrough came in 2014 when Dutch DJ Afrojack remixed his song “Ten Feet Tall,” which premiered during Super Bowl XLVIII in a Bud Light commercial and reached millions of viewers worldwide. The track garnered international recognition, with BuzzFeed naming it one of the year’s best pop songs. His subsequent releases included the single “11 Blocks” (2016, prominently supported by Kesha), followed by the EP “We Could Be Beautiful” (2017). The single “The Village” (released July 2017) became a notable moment in his career, as an advocacy piece dedicated to transgender rights and LGBTQ+ visibility.
As a songwriter and producer, Wrabel has contributed to projects by Pentatonix, Pink, Kesha, Louis The Child, Kygo, Marshmello, Backstreet Boys, and Ruel, among others.
