About Easy Life
Biography / Discography
Easy Life is an English alternative indie pop band formed in Leicester in 2017. The group developed a distinctive sound built on melodic indie pop and indie-rock influences, earning early critical attention for their accessible yet artistically credible approach. In 2020, they achieved significant recognition by placing as runner-up in the BBC Sound of… poll, a prestigious annual award recognizing emerging British artists.
The band released their third mixtape, Junk Food, which reached number 7 on the UK Albums Chart. They followed this with their debut studio album, Life’s a Beach, released in May 2021, further establishing their presence in contemporary British indie pop and earning festival appearances across the UK.
In October 2023, the band retired the Easy Life name following a trademark dispute with easyGroup. They rebranded under a new identity in June 2024 and continue performing as a recording and touring act.
