About Skott
Biography / Discography
Skott, born Pauline Skott (also known professionally by her full name Pauline Matsdotter Skott), is a Swedish singer, songwriter and producer working in indie pop and electropop. Raised in the small village of Vikarbyn, where folk music traditions remained part of everyday life, she later moved to Stockholm to study music composition. She is best known for her 2016 debut single Porcelain, which drew international attention and was featured on the FIFA 17 video game soundtrack.
Skott worked as a songwriter for Sony Music before launching her own performing career at age twenty five. Porcelain was noted by critics for its atmospheric, ethereal production and helped her complete her first North American and European tours within a year of her live debut. She later parted ways with her major-label deal and founded her own independent label, Dollar Menu, through which she has continued to release music on her own terms.
Her discography includes the EP Stay Off My Mind (2018), the studio album Always Live for Always (2020), and the EP A Letter From The Universe (2022). She has been recognized with a European Border Breakers Award for her contribution to European music. Skott is available to book for festivals, corporate events and private shows.
