About Rytmus
Biography / Discography
Patrik Vrbovský (stage name Rytmus) is a Slovak rapper, singer, songwriter and multi-genre artist born in 1977. He is best known for co-founding the Slovak hip-hop collective Kontrafakt, a pioneering act in Central European rap. Beyond his group work, Rytmus has established a substantial solo career spanning four studio albums and numerous hit singles.
His solo discography includes Bengoro (2006), Král (2009), Fenomén (2011) and Krstný Otec (2016). The single ‘Technotronic Flow’ achieved particular commercial success, reaching the number-one position on Slovak music charts. Beyond rap and hip-hop, Rytmus has worked across multiple entertainment disciplines, including television and acting roles within Slovak media.
