About Tom Boxer
Biography / Discography
Tom Boxer (born Cosmin Simionică) is a Romanian electronic music producer and DJ born in Craiova in 1977. He is best known for a series of international dance hits that achieved significant chart success across Europe and beyond.
Boxer released his debut studio album Zamorena in 2008, introducing his signature dance-electronic sound to regional audiences. The album’s lead single ‘Brasil’, a collaboration with vocalist Anca Parghel and electronic group Fly Project, became his breakthrough hit, topping the Romanian Top 100. His commercial momentum accelerated with the 2009 single ‘Morena’, featuring vocalist Antonia, which reached number two in the Romanian charts and entered the top ten across several European countries. The single’s success established him as a major figure in European dance music. His 2011 release ‘Deep in Love’ achieved Platinum certification in Italy, with 30,000 copies sold, furthering his recognition in mainstream dance music markets. Boxer continues to perform and produce electronic dance music, maintaining an active presence as a touring artist and studio producer.
