Biography / Discography
WESLEE is a British R&B duo formed in 2016, consisting of vocalist Emma DD and producer Josh Grant. The pair initially met in New York in 2014 and relocated to the United Kingdom, where they formally established the group, naming it after Emma’s childhood pet terrapin. WESLEE’s sound is rooted in contemporary R&B, shaped by influences including Tracy Chapman and Kwabs, combining introspective songwriting with polished production.
The duo’s debut single ‘Gassed’, released in 2017, achieved critical acclaim and has accumulated over 5 million streams worldwide.
