About Kathleen
Biography / Discography
Kathleen Sergerie, professionally known as Kathleen, is a Canadian pop singer from Quebec who achieved prominence in the early 1990s. Born in Cap-Chat in the Gaspé Peninsula region, she built a successful recording career with chart hits including ‘Où aller’ and ‘Ça va bien!’ Her 1991 self-titled debut album and 1993 release ‘Ça va bien!’ (produced by Jean-Pierre Isaac) established her as a notable figure in the Quebec pop scene, with a third album, ‘Cette fille-Là,’ released in 1996.
After her peak recording years, Kathleen transitioned to live performance, joining the Ville Émard Blues Band in Montreal around 2006 where she continued performing with the ensemble. While she released no solo recordings for over two decades following 1996, she indicated in 2017 that she was developing her fourth album. Kathleen maintains a presence through multiple streaming platforms and music databases, preserving her legacy as a significant pop artist of Quebec’s early 1990s music scene.
