About Konex
Biography / Discography
Konex, the professional name of Daniel Galović (born November 9, 1996, in Poprad, Slovakia), is a Slovak hip-hop producer, DJ and rapper. He is best known for producing and performing within the Slovak and Czech hip-hop scene, and for co-founding the rap collective YZO Empire in 2011 alongside Logic and Jimmy Dickson.
Konex built his early career as a producer and member of the Czech-based label Milion+, contributing production work to releases across the Slovak and Czech rap scene before announcing his departure from the label in October 2020 to pursue a solo career. His catalog spans mixtapes including Remix Dat, Young Army and Loading, EPs such as Since ’96, Musick, Solo Dolo and Karantena Party, and full-length albums including VOILÀ, SUPERNOVA, the CORRETTO series produced with Kamil Hoffmann, and DISTURBIA, released in 2025.
As a producer and featured artist, Konex has worked with a wide range of names from the regional hip-hop scene, including Yzomandias, Rytmus, Ektor, H16, James Cole, Pil C and Separ, and has released more than twenty music videos since 2014 in collaboration with artists such as Robin Zoot and Kamil Hoffmann. He is available to book for concerts, club nights and private events.
