About MisterWives
Biography / Discography
MisterWives is an American indie pop band from New York City, formed in 2012. The five-member ensemble—led by vocalist Mandy Lee, with drummer Etienne Bowler, bassist William Hehir, guitarist Marc Campbell, and keyboardist/saxophonist Mike Murphy—originated from a collaboration born out of Lee’s vision for an ’80s tribute band. The group performed their first show under the MisterWives name on February 1, 2013, at Canal Room in New York City and subsequently signed to Photo Finish Records.
The band achieved early critical success with their Reflections EP in 2014 and debut album Our Own House in 2015. They have since released Connect the Dots (2017), the Mini Bloom EP (2019), Superbloom (2020), and Nosebleeds (2023), followed by the deluxe edition Nosebleeds: Encore in 2024. MisterWives has toured alongside major acts including Twenty One Pilots, Panic! at the Disco, Foster the People, and Thirty Seconds to Mars, and performed at major festivals including Lollapalooza and Austin City Limits.
After departing from the label Fueled by Ramen in 2021, the band became independent. Their sound combines energetic indie pop with electronic influences, characterized by catchy melodies and dynamic instrumentation. Available to book for festivals, concert tours, and private events.
