About Project 46
Biography / Discography
Project 46 is a Canadian progressive house duo consisting of Thomas Shaw and Ryan Henderson. Formed in 2011 after meeting via Skype, the pair have built a successful career collaborating with major electronic music producers and releasing tracks through labels including Monstercat and Ultra. They are best known for “Last Chance” with Kaskade, which appeared on his Grammy-nominated album Atmosphere, “Collide” with Laidback Luke, and “Reasons” featuring Andrew Allen.
The duo debuted at number 100 on DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJ Poll in 2012, becoming one of the first Canadian DJs to achieve this recognition. “Reasons” reached the number one position on Beatport overall and gained significant radio play on BBC Radio 1 and Sirius XM. In 2013, Project 46 climbed to number 70 on the DJ Mag poll, while “Last Chance” achieved MTV Clubland rotation. Further collaborations and original releases throughout 2013 and 2014, including “No One,” “Eyes,” and “Memories,” cemented their position in progressive house.
Project 46 released their debut album Beautiful in July 2015 on Ultra Music, featuring studio collaborations and original compositions. The duo has performed at major festivals including TomorrowWorld and Ultra Music Festival, and held residencies at Drai’s Las Vegas and Exchange Los Angeles.
