About Ruby
Biography / Discography
Ruby, the stage name of Ana Claudia Grigore, is a Romanian dance-pop singer born 28 January 1989. Grigore graduated from the Dinu Lipatti Music High School with a specialization in acting. Her career began in Germany, where she performed her first concert, becoming the first Romanian artist to debut abroad. In 2010, her debut single Touch Me, a club music track, achieved international success particularly in Turkey, earning a nomination for the 2011 British Online Music Awards in the Best Dance Act category.
Ruby released several singles throughout the early 2010s, including Get High (2011, collaboration with Spanish artist Juan Magan), Party Hard (2011), and Miracle of Love (2012). She transitioned to Romanian-language releases in 2012 with Stinge lumina (Turn Off the Lights), produced by Alex Velea and HaHaHa Production, which became her most successful single domestically, peaking at number 18 on the Romanian Top 100. An English version of the track was also released internationally. Ruby continues to work in the dance-pop genre and is available for bookings at festivals, corporate events, and private performances.
