About The Revivalists
Biography / Discography
The Revivalists are an eight-piece American rock band formed in New Orleans, Louisiana, in 2007. Led by vocalist David Shaw and guitarist Zack Feinberg, the band’s lineup includes Ed Williams on pedal steel guitar, Rob Ingraham on saxophone, George Gekas on bass guitar, Andrew Campanelli on drums and percussion, Michael Girardot on keyboards and trumpet, and Paulet Howard on percussion. The band rose to prominence with their 2016 single ‘Wish I Knew You,’ which topped the Billboard Adult Alternative and Alternative Songs charts and achieved platinum certification from the RIAA.
The Revivalists released their self-titled EP in 2008 and debut album, Vital Signs, in 2010. Their 2012 album City of Sound marked a stylistic expansion incorporating folk, pop, and soul elements, produced by Galactic saxophonist Ben Ellman. The album Men Amongst Mountains (2015), also produced by Ellman, established them as major touring acts. Their 2018 album Take Good Care, released via indie label Loma Vista Recordings, featured producer collaborations with Dave Cobb, Andrew Dawson, and Dave Bassett, and produced the number-one Adult Alternative hit ‘All My Friends.’ The band’s fifth studio album, Pour It Out into the Night, arrived in June 2023.
Rolling Stone recognized The Revivalists among their ’10 Bands You Need to Know,’ and the group has performed on platforms including Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Ellen, and Conan. The band maintains an active touring schedule with appearances at festivals including Austin City Limits, New Orleans Jazz Fest, Governors Ball, Outside Lands, Bonnaroo, Voodoo Music & Arts Experience, and Music Midtown. They sold out Red Rocks Amphitheatre and have served as opening act for major touring acts including the Rolling Stones’ No Regrets Tour.
