Biography / Discography
Zion (Félix Gerardo Ortiz Torres) is a Puerto Rican reggaeton and Latin urban music artist born August 5, 1981, in Carolina. He achieved international recognition as one half of the duo Zion & Lennox, which formed in 2000 and became one of reggaeton’s defining acts of the 2000s and 2010s.
The duo released their breakthrough debut album Motivando a la Yal in 2004, which produced major hits including Bandida, Doncella, and Yo voy. Following the album’s success, Zion & Lennox continued releasing acclaimed projects: Los Verdaderos (2010), Motivan2 (2016), and El sistema (2021). The group’s commercial and critical success garnered multiple nominations at prestigious awards ceremonies including the Billboard Latin Music Awards and Latin American Music Awards, where they won Best Latin Rhythm Artist of the Year for Duo or Group three consecutive years.
