311 is an American rock band formed in Omaha, Nebraska, in 1988, bringing together vocalist/guitarist Nick Hexum, rapper/vocalist SA Martinez, guitarist Tim Mahoney, bassist Aaron “P-Nut” Wills, and drummer Chad Sexton. Known for their eclectic fusion of alternative rock, reggae, funk, and hip hop, 311 carved out a distinctive niche in the 1990s and 2000s, building a loyal international fan base.
