About S.T.S.B. fka Fun Factory
Biography / Discography
Fun Factory is a German eurodance group formed in 1992 with founding members Balca Tözün, Rodney Hardison, Toni Cottura and Stephan Browarczyk. The band became a major presence in European dance music during the 1990s, known for their infectious eurodance productions and energetic performances. The original members now perform together under the stage name S.T.S.B. fka Fun Factory, an acronym formed from their nicknames Balja, Rod D., Smooth T. and Steve.
Fun Factory’s debut album Nonstop! The Album arrived in 1994, with the single Close to You achieving their first major chart success, topping the Canadian Dance charts. Their commercial peak came in 1995 with the album Fun-Tastic, which produced multiple hit singles including I Wanna B with U (number 11 in Germany), Celebration and a Manfred Mann cover of Do Wah Diddy. The band expanded their reach across Europe, the United States and Canada before disbanding in 1997.
Following periodic reunions and performances, Fun Factory reunited in 2014 under their original name. The group released their third studio album Back to the Factory in 2016 and has continued to produce new material. They remain active on the festival circuit, particularly at 1990s nostalgia and dance music events throughout Europe. Available to book for festivals, corporate events and private shows.
