About Da Hool
Biography / Discography
Da Hool, the stage name of Frank Tomiczek, is a German DJ and record producer born in Bottrop on December 30, 1968, where he began his DJ career and built a reputation as a leading performer on the German scene by 1990. Working in trance and house music, he released early tracks including “B.O.T.T.R.O.P.,” “It’s a Dream Song,” and “Rave Nation” before achieving international recognition.
His best-known single was originally released in 1996 and reissued in 1997 on Kosmo Records, going on to sell an estimated six million copies worldwide and becoming one of the defining trance anthems of the era. The track reached number 15 on the UK Singles Chart in early 1998 and also charted in Germany, France, the Netherlands, and Ireland. He followed it with further UK chart entries, including a single that reached number 35 in 1998 and another that peaked at number 11 in 2001.
Da Hool has continued to record and perform within the trance and house scenes over subsequent decades, maintaining a presence on streaming platforms and within European club and festival circuits. He is available to book for festivals, corporate events and private shows.
