About Livin Joy
Biography / Discography
Livin’ Joy is an Italian Eurodance group formed in 1994 by producers Paolo and Gianni Visnadi. The group achieved major chart success in the mid-1990s through lead vocalist Janice Robinson and later Tameko Star. Their breakthrough single ‘Dreamer’ (1994) reached number one on the UK Singles Chart and the US Hot Dance Club Play chart, establishing the group as a key figure in the Eurodance movement.
Robinson departed in 1995 and was replaced by Tameko Star in 1996. With Star as the lead vocalist, Livin’ Joy released their album Don’t Stop Movin’ (October 1996), which spawned multiple successful singles including the title track ‘Don’t Stop Movin” (UK number 5), ‘Follow the Rules’ (UK number 9), and ‘Where Can I Find Love’ (UK number 12). These releases solidified the group’s prominence during the peak era of 1990s Eurodance.
Both vocalists pursued individual careers in subsequent years. Tameko Star reclaimed the Livin’ Joy moniker in 2022 and has continued performing extensively across multiple continents, maintaining the group’s legacy as one of the era’s most commercially successful Eurodance acts. The group is available for festival bookings and special event performances.
