About T-Spoon
Biography / Discography
T-Spoon is a Dutch Eurodance project founded in 1991 by rapper Shalamon Baskin (stage name Shamrock) and co-founder Remy de Groot (known as Prince Peration). Based in Amsterdam, the group specializes in high-energy electronic dance music combining Eurodance with acid trance elements. The ensemble was signed to the No More Music label and became an active contributor to the 1990s Eurodance movement, a genre that dominated European dancefloors during the decade.
T-Spoon’s musical identity is built on synthesizer-driven arrangements, infectious melodies, and uptempo rhythms characteristic of the broader Eurodance sound. The group’s dynamic production approach blends the melodic sensibilities of Eurodance with harder, more industrial acid trance textures, creating a distinctive sound within the electronic music spectrum.
