The Outhere Brothers, also known as The Outhere Project, are an American hip house and Eurodance duo from Chicago consisting of Keith “Malik” Mayberry and producer Lamar “Hula” Mahone. Formed in 1987, the group became internationally renowned during the 1990s for their energetic dance productions that blended hip hop and house music elements with European dance aesthetics.
The duo achieved their most significant chart success in 1995, when their signature track “Boom Boom Boom” reached number one in Ireland, the United Kingdom, and Germany. That same year, their follow-up single “Don’t Stop (Wiggle Wiggle)” charted prominently across multiple European territories, including Spain. The group also collaborated with producer Molella on the track “If You Wanna Party,” which achieved top-ten chart positions in Germany, Ireland, and the United Kingdom in 1995. While their domestic American presence remained modest, the Outhere Brothers established themselves as influential figures in the international dance music scene of the mid-1990s.
