About The Hara
Biography / Discography
THE HARA is an English alternative rock band from Manchester, formed in 2017. The trio consists of Josh Taylor (lead vocals), Zack Breen (guitar), and Jack Kennedy (drums), who met while attending BIMM: Manchester. The band has established itself as a compelling live act known for emotive vocals, powerful rhythms, and high-energy performances that combine introspective songwriting with dynamic delivery.
THE HARA’s discography spans multiple EPs and their debut studio album. Beginning with No Regrets in 2018, the band released Play Dead in September 2020, which achieved No. 1 on the iTunes chart across all genres. This was followed by We All Wear Black in 2022, which reached No. 3 on the UK Rock & Metal albums chart. Their debut studio album, Survival Mode, was released in April 2023 through Scruff of the Neck.
The band has performed extensively across the UK and Europe, appearing at major festivals including Download Festival, Reading and Leeds, Tramlines, Rock for People, and 2000trees. THE HARA made their North American debut at SXSW in March 2023 and has toured in support of international acts including Sum 41, Ice Nine Kills, and Escape the Fate.
